UFC Buys Strikeforce - Good or bad?

As a big MMA fan I read the article in the Sports Picks section (titled Dana White and the UFC takeover) and it's kind of interesting that they had actual SBR posters quoted in the article.

Some are for it, some are against it. Me, I can't see anything but good coming from it while others like Pavy still think: the UFC is rigged, 911 was a conspiracy by George Bush and his oil rich friends and the moon landing was set on a Hollywood sound stage.

I dont know man, thats like wishing some of the guys from the NFL would start their own league. Wouldn't that be aboutt he worst thing that could happen to any of the major 4 sports in the US? Dana White has more incentive than any of us to put out the best product possible. He doesn't strike me as a "rest on his laurels" kind of guy.

very mixed thoughts about this, but overall i guess i like it. would love if there is just 1 "league" so to speak. to prevent fighters from dodging each other. like in boxing. would of been cool to see fedor fight brock and a few others a year or 2 ago

Absolutely right and that's why consolidating the best fighters under one banner is better for everyone including the fans.
