Does Richmond have anything inside? The Morris twins could single-handely make this a 15 pt game. Ive seen their guard play, but what do they have that matches up with the Jayhawks inside?

Justin Harper, who will be playing in the NBA next year. perhaps more importantly, UR plays a match-up zone, so they won't be defending KU's size in a straight man-to-man. the Big 12 isn't a big zone conference, most teams play man-to-man (Baylor's the notable zone team, and Nebraska, Colorado and Iowa State play some zone), and no one plays a defense like UR's. i honestly wonder how KU will deal with a defense different that what they've seen all season. the zone will make the game more about KU's guards than bigs, which should be to UR's advantage.

That purdue win doesn't look that great now though. Iowa beat Purdue during the regular season too.

Though VCU does look good

I just don't see anything in Richmonds schedule to say they have a chance here, but thats the way the whole tourney has been for me. I never saw vcu,butler,florida state, richmond,etc in the sweet 16 either

sum people on here think betting on basketball is like playing BJ. Based on what i see in this matchup one thing that worries me is that richmond is highly reliant on the 3 pt shot. That being said, kansas has forwards that can come out and guard all the way to the 3 pt line. This will limit the effectiveness of richmonds princeton offense n theyll need to be more creative than ever to score. Richmond though, does play incredible defense without fouling much. The question will be of whether they can make this a low scoring affair like southern illinois did couple years ago when they almost shocked kansas. this is a close call but i think unless richmond plays flawless ball they could get blown out here if they are taking contested jumpers throughout the game.
