    Lowered limits after winning?
    Guys,

I have been playing at a solid B rated sportsbook for many years. Usually just a small player...under $500 wagers most of the time. The last few years, I have been increasing the amount of my plays, regularly going over $1,000 per wager. I have had a great month and made more than $50,000. Now all my limits are really low. Is this common? Should I be concerned?

    1. You shouldnt be concerned
    2. They lowered you limits because they dont want your action anymore
    3. Find a A rated book and this will happen less.

I have had my limits lowered at two sportsbooks - one being an A rated one so ratings don't matter. Consider it a compliment and move on.

What book? Also, were you chasing steam or anything else of that nature?

I suggested an A book because lowered limits are less likely to occur, I DID NOT SAY it will never happen.

chasing steam meaning what? I prefer not to say the sportsbook name, but if you look at my past threads you can probably figure it out.

Withdraw your $ and play at another book that will take your action.

Yeah, consider it a compliment and move on. A lot of us wish we had the same problem on this board!

move on?? depends on the numbers you're getting at this Book. leave some $$ there and win what they will let you , move the rest to matchbook and or betjam

Under SBR recommended books, look for books that take professional action. Unlikely you will get limited there. But the numbers might not be as interesting as the book you play with now.
