anyone else hit pistons +8 and heat -7 2nd half?

I never understood the significance of such a line. You push this bet about 4% of the time and win both about 3% of the time? The other 93% of the time u lose 4.55% of ur investment. The possible sample size for even getting this type of line may be 20-50 times a year. I never understood why people jump over there boots for a 1 point middle. I can see 2 to 2.5 points.

I guess this can be similiar to a lot of other statistical situations when u have a small advantage but in every other aspect i can think of the sample suze will be much much bigger

Edit: in this circumstance its not even posdible to win both sides so ur hoping for a push-win and u lose money in any other circumstance.
