#106I see your point, so therefore he should be focusing on how many units he is plus or minus. I am certain the -60 units would be equally devastating to his record as adding 16 losses.Comment -

#107Look DMAVS, I know you think I'm just here busting your chops but what I'm really doing is trying to educate you and the other noobs who look at your thread titles and think you know the game. Your actions speak volumes that you're a kid who likes to cap. That's fine and I really don't care what your record is but do believe you may have some promise (yes, I really do!).
But my problem is that I cannot really get a feel for your abilities because you're so spastic. Betting on dozens of games a night, swearing parlays are the answer, and all the ground we've already covered. I for one would like to see you cap your best 1-3 plays a night. So what if you go 0-3? It happens. But at least you'd be betting like a pro and not a kid in a candy store.Comment -

#108Why would you count parlays with straight picks, that is just dumb.Originally posted by Swinging JohnsonWhat about adding the 16 losses? Doesn't that make you 178-170 at 51%?
ExactlyOriginally posted by jorge1I dont mean to budge into you guys discussion, but usually for my book-keeping i keep parlays separate...The payoff is way larger, so its gotta be separate. If you account one parlay winning, as one win, part of the whole lump sum, then its not realistic, because that parlay won you alot more than just one unit. Just my thoughts...
I have said this plenty of time.. most of those parlays were just thrown up there because swinging johnson wanted more parlays (he even made a thread looking for me) thats how much he cared about it.Originally posted by MartinBlankWhoa there Nellie. You are counting your 54% overall record, but ignoring all your parlay losses? When added all up, I am guessing your are down for overall units.
You cant count units, because i never posted how many units i bet on the 332 straight bets.. I never worried about how many units to betComment -

Just trust me when I tell you, if you actually put your plan into action and start betting all these games with real $$, you will forever be without money in your pocket. #115Depends on what type of bettor you are. In this situation you seem to be right that he's playing to many games but there are some system bettors who would tell you 26 bets a day is average production for them. Regardless you guys have made your point. Let it play outOriginally posted by Swinging JohnsonYou're not just a noobie, you're a dummy as well. #11626 bets a day if someone is swapping and middling but c'mon, there are no proven systems that will allow anyone to overcome the 10% if betting in that fashion.Originally posted by FishFace5Depends on what type of bettor you are. Secondly, you're right. Beating a dead horse here. The outcome though is far from suspenseful.Comment -

Can I ask you a question, do you actually have money on these games, or are you here just to have fun?
All you are doing is guessing, which is no different than flipping a coin.
If pressed, can you actually create 500 words on why the Portland game is going over?
You couldn't.
Something tells me you are yet another, Monopoly-Money player just screwing around. You aren't wagering really money on the entire NBA board. No one does that.Comment -

being correct feels pretty good, doesn't it?
dude, i hope you get over 65% tonight.
don't spend too much time responding and trying to defend your picks. you should spend that extra time capping games, and doing whatever else you do in life! yeah, like someone previously pointed out -- hopefully you can post 1-4 really awesome picks per day steadily at a good rate of winning in the future after all this practice. especially the 1H picks. (and no, i'm not subtly asking for 13 or more 1H picks tonight..!)Comment -

You went 18-10 yesterday and we had a 100 point wager that you couldn't be 16-10.
You won 100 points, but you still owe me 400.
Let's see how good you really are.
I will give you the chance to eliminate all that debt.
400 points, double or nothing------
There are 2 NBA games today, and 13 tomorrow.
Sides and totals make 30 possible picks.
I say you can't hit 20-10 (which is your guaranteed 66%) mark that you keep talking about.
If you hit 20, no more debt.
If you do not hit 20----You owe me 800 points.
