Hope that's the case. I'm from San Diego and I know a ton of people will be making the short drive up to Anaheim to support the Aztecs. It's gonna feel like a home game I'm sure. But I really think this team got lucky to get as far as they have and I have pounded UConn with giving up only a point. I just can't see SDSU beating a seasoned Big East team like UConn. Hope I'm right and you guys are wrong!

Let them play a conference team other than a mid major. they beat big sky conference and A-10 and the A-10 team played at a turtle pace. let me get to the big boys that are just as athletic as them.

SDSU is a great team, very athletic, great defense, great coach, and has played a great season, but not enough to beat U-Conn even with the "home" game. UConn wins this game and covers but it might take an overtime to do so. It is going to be fun to watch but I took Uconn at -1. They are playing to well right now not to take them at such a value.

and Temple's scootie randall was not healthy

once he went down temple was never the same team

In my view, SDSU was a very good pick for a bracket. They have a fair chance to win it all (about 5%), and it is underpicked, compared to Duke, Kansas and Ohio State.

That said, even if I can see them winning vs U Conn, they would be a big dog (+200 or more) vs Duke. And if they gets into final 4, Ohio St would be heavily favored vs them. And if they reach the final, Kansas would be again the clear fave.

So, they are a quite good team, but having to beat the 3 best teams in a row is in tall order.

they match up well with uconn, but no way they win it all. I think we will see that they have no poise in a tight game situation against an equally talented school. steve fisher is not that good of a coach. hell, they might even be able to beat duke, but i doubt it.
