I thought last night set the dumb bar, but a new level was achieved today. Trying to block the last second shot at the rim (well after it was on the way down) was beyond idiotic. Worse was the officials again making themselves part of the story. Why they didn't check the time on the clock before that shot is beyond me. But worse, are they certain that shot wouldn't have hit the front of the rim, bounced forward and then gone it. Have we never seen that happen before? It was goal tending and it should have counted. It was two -- they at least got that part right -- so it didn't impact the winner, but still....
