I ask because I believe this just happened to a friend of mine who was recently paralyzed. The girl who had his kid apparently left him (at least that's what i'm interpreting from reading his sister's messages).

What would you do? While not actually being in the situation I think this girl is worthless for leaving him - especially considering that she is the mother of his child.

Leaving immediately after is pretty cold but leaving seems inevitable if there's not a marriage.

If there's problems down the road, I can see that. But, to leave right after the person becomes paralyzed?...You'd have to be a real scumbag.

My girlfriend goes in for MAJOR BACK SURGERY shortly with a chance of being disabled for life. She has been basically disable the past year with her back having degenerative Disc disease. IF she became permantently disable I will be there for good taking care of her IT'S CALLED LOVE!!

That's the prob, nowadays most guys are just with a girl to get their dick wet, has nothing even close to do with love. So if they are sick/disabled the girl says adios and if the girl is sick/disabled the guy just moves on to the next hole.

              Good man.
I agree with what Chute said as well. Sad but true that this kind of thing actually happens.

No. Would leave immediately. I could not fathom being a life long care giver after working all day to make $$$$.

If somebody says yes to this then the disabled person is better off without them in the 1st place
