They've fouled Shaq and Skinner the past four possessions in a row at the end of the first Q to put them at the line, come on- the FIRST q..??
So cheap.

No way Suns 1h covers because if it's close like now they'll send Shaq to the line another 6 times in a row with 3 minutes left because that's the only way they can play, that and flopping like fishes out of water.

Yes I know, but watching them pisses me off. I can't stand them, they are so sleazy, not even the fouling issue but how they've made flopping an art. 1st game w/ Phoenix was flop city.

Why? Make your free throws and that rule doesn't even matter. I want them to crack down on the BS flopping so many guys do now.

Nothing cheap about it -- Shaq is a lazy a$$hole who never took the time to learn how to shoot FT ... is it the Spurs fault Shaq has decided, a long time ago, that he will never be a complete player?
Nope. It's all on Shaq. All style, no substance.

The Spurs aren't going anywhere this year, they beat the Suns game one by flopping their f*cking asses off, without that and their constant hack a shaq'ing this series would be tied right now.

Your point is? I guess you figure if a guy can't shoot jump shots, you should have to guard him tight anyway instead of leaving him open and forcing him to make a shot?
Shaq is a weak spot on the team. The Spurs are exploiting that. That is what winners do.

You're right, they also exploit zebras by practicing flopping and making it an art form. They are all class, that's what winners do. Nothing cheap about them.

yea, can't hit any for the life of him. A disgrace, his only skill is throwing his fat ass around down low, and now he doesnt even get away with it like when he was on the Lakers. So he's really a waste.
Just a good intimidation factor down low on defense.

Down 9 points, Shaq should not see the floor in the 2nd half. He will cost the Suns 5-6 possessions and, simple fact is, he doesn't give them enough on the defensive end to make up for that many lost possessions.
And if the zebras don't do their jobs properly, the Spurs are to blame again?
Crazy, it seems like there is incompetence all about us -- guys who never learned how to shoot free throws, referees who never learned how to call a game properly and it is all the Spurs fault ...
Wow ... want some cheese with that w(h)ine?

shaq is good for one thing only, helping give the under in the game a chance with all his misses but I got under 198 and suns +5 so it does not really help me if he misses every dam ft
Question Tony Parker amazing

So crazy, when your team or any team you bet on is down with less than a minute to go in the 4th they shouldn't foul on purpose? It's simple, if Shaq could hit a free throw they wouldn't foul him.

You know, all that dirty play I don't really take my anger out on the Spurs for. If they can get rings doing it when they need to due to lack of talent in a game... so be it I guess.
However, what gets me all pissed are the referees and the rest of the league ALLOWING IT with no dicipline. That's the ridiculous part about it all, its so disgusting to watch game in and game out, however, there is NO enforcement about it.

You're right, they rarely flop and aren't synonymous with that in this league more than any other team by far. I was grossly mistaken.

He means he gets them in such a hole, and makes up for a fraction of his error when their in a real tough position. Like now for example.

Read this post again, and then find the implicit gaping hole in logic.
Maybe, just maybe, the Phoenix big men need to hit their FT's. And maybe, just maybe, they should have played with a little bit of fire and actually tried to win a f*cking game, instead of puckering up after Duncan hit that 3 in game 1. I'm so sick and f*cking tired of hearing all of this whining. I can understand one thread on this subject but jesus, give it a rest. The Spurs just beat the Suns in 5 games and didn't break any rules in doing so. Direct your blame at Phoenix for being severely outcoached, for not being able to make a FT (Shaq and Skinner), for admitting that Hack-a-Shaq got into their heads and took them out of their flow (Nash), for disappearing for entire games (Barbosa, Bell, Diaw), for not being healthy (Hill), for not being able to stay out of foul trouble (Amare), for not taking over as he has in the past (Nash), and for not being able to summon up the emotional strength to win game 2 or 3 (or 5) after an unfortunate loss in game 1. Direct your hatred towards the Spurs if you wish, but you guys are giving Phoenix a free pass here. They were horrible as a team in this series. Possibly the worst body language of any team in the playoffs. Even the Hawks summoned up more energy and motivation than Phoenix. The only game in which Phoenix played with any passion was game 4 and even then it was misdirected (leaving starters on the floor while the Spurs starters sit the final 16 minutes, D'Antoni getting a T, etc.)
At least you still have another series or two to get angry at the Spurs "dirty" play.

P.S. This post wasn't directed at you, in particular, crazyl. It was directed at everyone who seems to be upselling the Spurs flopping while completely ignoring the Suns horrific play and coaching in this series. Also, name a more impressive playoff performance than SA game 3 on the road at Phoenix. Completely and utterly dominated that game from start to finish and was probably the best-played game from the Spurs all season. THAT is what championship teams do. They turn it up another notch and peak in the postseason.
