Really bad. When I saw the first pictures on Friday I got the impression that the epicentre was just far enough out at sea that the damage would not be too bad. Since then it has just looked worse and worse.

Not even close. At least 150,000 were killed by the direct results of those explosions.
Estimates of how many died of the after effects vary but could easily be 80,000 more.

Not a huge fan myself of the Japs! I do hate this for anyone, any innocent people, but its just hard not to still think about what that nation has done to this one & what a cruel horrible society they used to be.

My great uncle just died 2 years ago, he was on the Bataan death march & was a Japanese POW for 4 or 5 years I guess, I cant remember how long now from the fall of Bataan & Corregidor until the end of the war but it was an incredibly long time.

You talk about some fukin stories! And a man to his dying day would kick you in the fukin nuts if you even mentioned rice
