I would not be surprised at all if Wofford wins outright. Regardless, BYU would lose next round anyway to Gonzaga/St. John's winner.

I've been following Wofford for a while now and think they have enough to contain Fredette, get scoring contributions from everyone (ie. Loesing, Giltner, Rundles along with Dahlman and Diggs) and win outright.

BYU may have some value the first few rounds. The perception seems to be that they got to where they are with the big guy and without him they are ripe for the picking. I guess its all about how you handicap the absence of Davies.

The only thing that will stop Fredette is a lid over the basket. He is the real deal. Watch as he launches 3s from NBA range. BYU is an offensive machine and Wofford will not be able to keep up.

I dont buy this one Pavy. BYU in a laugher! I have watched Wofford play a few times this season. They wont stop the BYU shooters.

They had a nice run through the Southern Conf., but they were not good in non-conf. play.

I have seen three.

All the games they played against CofC.

Then I had Wofford ML against Wisky. Last year in the first round March Madness, subsequently Wofford lost by 3 points.

Wofford returns all but one stater from last years team. Though last years six man is starting currently.

I have yet to see Wofford play this season. Do they play really good defense or something? San Diego State plays extremely good defense and that didn't stop Jimmer and those mormons from kicking their ass 2/3 times this season

I hate BYU with a passion, but they're the real deal. Even without Davies

BYU is 3-2 since Davies was kicked off the team and their two wins in that span were VS the two worst teams of the conference with a combined record of 4-29 in conference play. In the two losses in that span they lost by 18 points in each game.

1 loss was the day Davies got kicked off, and from what I heard before the game ( and I made a big play at +700 on NM and won on this info) and if you watched the game you know what I mean when I say BYU did not play hard and made a point to the school they did not like what was done to Davies.

The 2nd loss was to a very good #7 at the time SDST team. So that 3-2 record your quoting is misleading to say the least.

Wofford is not SDST.
