    Derby parties in Louisville
every year there is a ton of derby festivities and parties and events. I found this guest list funny in my local paper for the Grand Gala event. the Grand Galais some event that benefits the 828 Foundation, which funds area youth organizations. Anyway its usually black actors and athletes, anyway check the guest list and see who looks like they don't belong, kinda like a "Where's Waldo" thing.

Thanks for asking. I'm actually pretty good. It was the easiest surgery I've ever been through. I'm a little sore still, but that's about it. Tomorrow is the first day I'm medically cleared to drive, and 2 weeks from tomorrow, I can resume working out, and can return to work. I personally think this doc is being extremely overcautious, since I've heard of people going back to work in a week, but I guess with the industry I'm in, it's better to be safe then sorry. He said his main concerns were the possibility of it getting infected, and me popping the stitches. Oh well, another 2 weeks of relaxation I guess.

I'm a supervisor for an all-union interior/exterior marble and granite company, that specializes in high end commerical work in Manhattan. Aggrivating job, and a high risk of getting hurt, but it pays well, and it's brought me to some amazing places. I mean, how many other people can say that they took a couple puffs of a doobie on the outside ledge of the 89th floor of the Time Warner building?

It's not that bad. If you're ever up in the NYC area, let me know. I'll get ya to conquer that fear, and you'll have one of the best views of the city out of everyone that's ever visited. Nothing like going up 60+ stories on an exterior elevator, that's welded to the outside of the building. It's even more fun on a windy day.
