yea its real. i believe these waves are produced from a reef that is out in the middle of the ocean that affects the motion of the water or something. thats at least what i read. i think the spot is like 100 or 200 miles off the san diego coast. only way there obv is boat or helicopter, and u gotta get pulled in by seaddoo. whats crazy to me is that if its made by the reef, u fall, ur def fukked.

That's from Cortes Bank, about 100 off the Cali coast. Seriously crazy stuff, waves as high 85'+. I saw a documentary a while back, guy said you could fit a house in some of those tubes.

It is real, it is Ken Bradshaw (An absolute beast of a man from Texas) who moved to Hawaii to surf big waves. He had an intense rivalry with Mark Foo (who later died whilst surfing Mavericks off California). Bradshaw was basically the Don of Waimea for a number of years.

The wave in the video is from a break called Log Cabins off Hawaii. Bradshaw hated to surf with other people, remember he was the Don, he would see this wave break miles out to sea and consider it, one day he paddled out and surfed it with one person - Mark Foo. They both paddled into waves off this break, of course this one in the video is a tow in. Also it is not the biggest wave he surfed that day and it is not from a tsunami.
