Guys I am attending the Bash in Costa Rica, but according to the maps and hotel information the 2nd night hotel resort is $140 taxi ride from the 1st hotel each way, can someone verify this?

Most rockstars wouldn't have a problem with that schedule. Hell, a bum like me would have no problem doing that, I would imagine that rockstars who do it on the reg, would become accustomed to it.
That's a good question will try to get an answer and post it in the Itinerary once it becomes finalized.

Guess you'll have to save a little of the "party" for the morning to get you going again.

Just did the drive this weekend; not too bad at all. Part of the new highway was open, so the trip took about 90 minutes. The new highway will be re-opened sometime this week (at least that is what the news is reporting), so the drive will be about 40-50 minutes once it opens again.
Besides, the drive is gorgeous; very beautiful when you're driving through the mountains.

John said the hotel checkout was 11am so I'm assuming that's why we're leaving there then and then heading to the SBR office for lunch.

In that link I posted, John said they'd have several shuttles running on Sunday from the hotel to the airport so hopefully that's still the case and those who are leaving that day have different options based on when their flights leave.

Yeah a bus full of mostly male American tourists heading to a casino resort. That's not asking for problems.

Not like it's anything new, considering that tourism is Costa Rica's #1 source of income. It's very safe.

Maybe like 15 minutes, depends on traffic.

Can we drink on the bus? Maybe get a keg for the 20-30 of us that show up to tap?

I would imagine that you can. You can drink on practically any bus, or in the train, or any personal vehicle (as long as you're not driving). You can walk down the road and drink. This isn't the states. It's extremely common for people down here to buy a few 6 packs and head to the beach. By the time that you're at your destination, you're ready go party.
Can't get kegs down here, though. They're only provided to bars and restaurants.

I would definitely pack some heat if I had to be in a bus in a third world country for 90 miles. What happens if bandits cut off the bus and rob everyone?

Went to Dominican Republic a few years back as well as Curacao. What we call a mountain trail for goats here in the US they call it a road over there and they drive cars on it. It's basically a clearing in the vegetation enough for a car to go through without any pavement.
