Why is Kentucky such a big Fave?

5th highest at most books. They have a tough bracket, they are not that great, are they really better than Texas, North Carolina, Uconn, Syracuse, etc. I could go on.

Lets say they play WVU, what's the line? It can't be that high...

Do the books think they'll beat OSU? maybe, I don't know.

Is there actually that many people eager to bet Kentucky at +1700????

I think 5th is about right for them. Young team, loads of talent, playing their best basketball of the season. The road is where they really struggled this year because of youth and inexperience. Kentucky fans travel like no other so I think they'll thrive in this environment.
