Washington Huskies will beat North Carolina in round 2

Washington will beat that young Carolina team. Carolina had a habit of getting down in the ACC tournament, they have been getting a lot of hype. The Huskies have the size to match up with Zeller/Henson down low, and Isiah Thomas will out do Marshall.

Washington has 4 three point shooters and they are a 2nd half team. Carolina gets behind and catches up but they won't be able to out-do the Washington Huskies. It will be two running teams but the Huskies will outscore the Tar Heels.

i agree 100% washinton actually does play pretty good defense, there really underrated its because they push the ball so hard on offense it hurts there defensive stats

the Tar Heels games should be some of the best to watch. Their first round opponent Long Island has the fastest tempo in the field, and their potential second round opponent Washington has the 4th fastest tempo. North Carolina has the 5th fastest tempo in the field.

Are you people serious!? NORTH CAROLINA IS 24-1 IN NCAA TOURNAMENT GAMES PLAYED IN STATE. So they didn't look great in the ACC Tournament but since when has Roy Williams ever cared about the ACC Tournament?! To him its just another chance for star players to get hurt before the dance like DJ Kennedy for St. John's did.

Washington is decent but if you think Matthew Bryan-Amanaing is matching up against Henson and Zeller you're deluding yourself. Washington gives up 80 points to literally anyone. Imagine how many they'll give up in what is likely to be a true road game. The real question Huskies fans should be asking themselves is in light of our ultra-fail defense how are we going to stop Trey Thompkins from dropping 20 and 10 on us?

OK my 2 cents. First off, UNC is not going to lose in the 1st round to LIU. LIU pretty much play "high school" b-ball. They are going to get clobbered by 20 or more with the home crowd watching. Second, UNC will take down Washington..if Washington makes it. Place your bets!
