Assuming they pay minimum wage of $6.00 an hour, this is equivalent to $150 a day, $1050 a week, $55,000 a year in round numbers.

What a pathetic life to earn $55,000 a year by working like a slave without contributing anything to society.

PS. Any coincidential resemblance to actual persons is purely accidental and fictitious.

Pavey, you post on the same forum for free...whos getting the better deal?

And who says its working like a slave? You get to work from home, do what you want, when you want...how is that not awsome?

Sometimes it amazes me at how dumb you can be.

Hahahaha. At least someone got the joke 2 months late. I always wondered why do degenerate gamblers opt for sex change?

It may be a good way of earning a living, no doubt about it. Is the contributing part to society that bothers me. You get no emotional reward with this job. When I finish designing a school or a hospital as an engineer I feel much better that I helped kids and sick people have a roof over their head and it beats the hell out of the monetary reward I get from my employer.

What does a paid poster get in these terms?

Maybe they like to keep to themselves. You think Bigboydan doesnt help people and then feel good that he helped them? (I dont know whos a paid poster) but maybe a mother that can stay home with her children while she monitors the site and contributes. You think she likes being able to sit home with her kids and help them and clean up(or whatever)? Maybe you wouldnt find any satifaction from paid posting but for some others it could be ideal. To call these people pathetic or say they dont contribute to society is just plain blasphomy.

99.5% of posters are posting for free on here, why on earth would they need to pay someone, let alone 5-7 posters, $55k a year.

No way in hell they are paying posters nowhere near any kind of figure like that. They would be luck to make a couple hundred bucks a month.

Where you get the "beef" thing from? I have no clue what you are talking about. I read the first post about posters making around 55k and I was commenting on that. I think you have me confused with someone else. If I had beef I would let you know just like I do with fishface. You probably took my post the wrong way not sure.

I used to think some people got paid to post, but I think Buddy Bear is probably right 99.5% of us are just here.

This is a very hypothetical question I posed and is not based on actual numbers so don't put too much in to it. I know that SBR does not use paid posters. Why would a forum owner that runs a sound business bleed money on paid posters when excellent individuals are contributing freely their knowledge and capping skills? A forum is more of a collection of minds that has no monetary value like the desks, chairs, or computers of the company. If you lose the spiritual part of the forum all you have is an office with 4 walls 3 desks and 2 chairs. All the owner of the forum has to do is encourage the free posting members to keep contributing with knowledge and posts rather than bleed green from hiring paid posters.

If they are paying people to post, that is a real bad business model. If anything, people who are getting paid to post should be getting an e-plink slip soon.

Yes you are right. Since Curacao became the 51st state last year I go there on weekly trips to deliver the mail and then come back to Atlanta to deliver more mail. And when the tornado hit the Georgia Dome this year at night I was there to deliver more mail. I also delivered mail by the WTC since I have knowledge of the structural collapse.
