That one ncaa final or semi final game was fixed when Duke beat them

They hushed it up but later we found out Vegas players were hanging with bookmakers all year

If you re watch it you could tell, I think they just wanted to keep it close and win game but Duke ended up stealing it

I remember clips from years ago about how the players would be hanging out in hot tubs with known bookmakers and some girls. Wonder if the documentary will get more into this.

I was too young to remember watching but Duke had Laettner, Hurley, Hill, Lang great team

Thats saying alot but you may be right. This years class is definitely below average by comparison and that UNLV team would have been favored big over all teams since then with few exceptions.

That year Duke beat them was a great Final4 and final game, probably best one of 90's. Forgot all about the controveries surrounding that Tark team. Liked Tark despite his wrong doings but did not like the team's personality... too arrogant and that Fab5 Michigan team around the same time ushered in another layer of bull$hit into college athletics. I'll watch the UNLV thing for sure but will prob pass on the Mich deal. BTW, does anyone remember Dugan Fife? It would have been nice to hear Jalen or CWebb or Howard mention him once at least...
but I recall CWebb talking up Jimmy King at least who is all but forgotten now.
