Ok so I get more spam from Oddsmaker, while im taking a dump I decide to flip through and read all of the terrible analysis. On page 18 you'll find a Oddsmaker Guidelines For Basketball Betting.

They are a scam but in this case correct.

A player going 50-50 based on -110 at $100 per play would lose $500

50 wins @ $100 = +$5000
50 losses @ $110 = -$5500
Net loss = $500
