There's plenty of squares around, but then there's also the people who focus so much on not taking any squarish plays that they actually become reverse-squares. I'm talking about the people who lose out on a lot of value just because they refuse to ever touch chalk.

Take that Lakers Heat game for example: despite being underdogs, a lot of people still saw Miami as the square pick. They thought the public was sheepishly undervaluing LA and inaccurately believing that Miami was "due" for a win. I'm not saying that dumb belief didn't indeed pull the Laker's line down, but the Heat was still the objectively sharper play and a lot of people missed out on it. That's not even including all the people who thought wagering either side of the game was too square in the first place. And there was plenty of reverse-squarism going on around here before the Super Bowl when a lot of people couldn't wait to cash in on Pittsburgh just because all the guys at work kept talking about how they thought Green Bay would win.
