BetOnSports - make no mistake this book is STILL a dog.
I see they have bought off another watchdog. Royal did the same thing. I guess its a good plan; pay top cash to get the dogs to say you are Pure Platinum or Gold or a 10+ or whatever. Well, there is one site they will not be able to buy and you're on it.

Btw, we just had a very serious complaint out of these guys. Now complaints are certainly down hence their SBR rating is heading towards upper C. Some of these watchdogs are saying they are now a top book(cha-$hing!) and that is just simply NOT the truth.

BOS cancelled a winning wager AFTER the game was over on a line that was off(according to them of .40). The player took his complaint to Bill dozer and was paid, and thank you BoS for that, but it should have never happened. Honorable bookmakers to not cancel bets AFTER the game is over.

Their "taking a stand" against shady books did not last long.

Bet Jamaica pulled something similar cancelling soccer bets in the middle of the game within the last week. They made it right quickly. Not making excuses but sometimes these things happen, and BOS is huge so I could see it happening all the time and as best I can tell it doesn't. I have been pretty impressed with BOS over the last year. I am skeptical about books that have shady pasts, but they seem to doing everything right of late.

              LF,

As per mgt., BOS policy is to void graded wagers on lines the deem to be "bad". There was a 2nd bet that was canceled and it took about a week and 4 phone calls for them to make an "exception". They acknowledge this policy should be rewritten and hopefully it will.

Lot of difference between Jamaica and BOS, very good point. I think BJ handled it poorly at first, but they resolved it 100% in player favor in 24 hours. A week and your intervention at BOS a much lower standard.

Greed is the credibility death of sportsbook watchdogs. Could you ever trust someone that personally was to ask you to send your hard earned money to serial crooks like Royal or even past crooks?

Think about it. Would you recommend your best friend to send money to ESB? Would you tell your Dad to send money to Royal Sports?

If you are a sportsbook Watchdog and you grab cash for no better reason than greed then you have no credibility. The amount of players that will actually follow your advice will drop severely and you will be left trying to sell "branding".

A leopard can't change his spots. SHRINK has had so many advertising books go belly up and stiff his loyal posters, that he actually was surprised that so few followed him over to his new site. I was one of the dummies that bought his bullshit about starting a new site to take a stand. What a crock of shit that was.

With March Madness here I would not want to see anyone get sucked in to sending money to BetOnSports. Well known for cancelling winning bets. Changing rules and making them retroactive is what their famous for.

I guess what irks me is the johnny-come-latelys started out saying they were only going to promote the best books. Thats a claim that the rx and mw don't make. Then you had tow sell out 1st with the Life Support Project....errr..Rookie Project. Now you have Ken who swore to never take on BoS or any other dog giving into greed too.

This industry needs regulation or (God forbid) it needs to be abolished because uncontrollable greed leads to players getting scammed by those who are suppose to protect them.

Seriously...think about it, it's a total scam. We have watchdogs promoting Royal, BetUS and BetonSports. Let's bring back asbestos and hey, lets get Ralph Nader as the pitch man for the new Ford Pinto!
