I've been using this angle for a while and it has been fairly profitable, though I couldnt give you exact numbers. The Streak Masters are pretty sharp and have a very good eye for selecting games that sucker in a ton of people by offering a Pick'em on a team that is actually favored by -3, -4, etc. I'll go the other way and bet ML on any team that is +3 or higher but offered as a pick'em on SFTC. I'd venture to say those ML dogs are hitting 50-55%. When you're getting anywhere from +140 to +180 on those plays and hitting over 50% it's been a very good angle.

Yeh. these games always have caught my eye and I play a bunch of them. I'm actually keeping track of the moneylines on my spreadsheet as well to see how they turn out too. both teams have won straight up at +220 and +160.

I thought I should finally get some documented data on these sftc dogs

I've experimented with this recently too, I like it... You are correct that the Streak Masters have a great eye for putting trap games out there to ruin people's streaks... Those games usually end up very competitive and often the dogs will pull it out

Golden State is +4.5 vs Orlando tomorrow, and on the Streak board

Interesting. I play SFTC and have gotten the same feeling. I'd like to meet whoever is picking which games to put up, because the guy is brilliant.

yep, i saw that game. just waitin to post til tomorrow. Line will most likely move to at least 5 or 5.5... I'm kinda shocked the line is even that low. GS is 3-7 in their last 10 and have lost by an average of about 15 lately against Orlando.

Too lazy to document it, but I'm positive that betting the big ML underdogs is profitable.

Sorry boys, it was 3.5 when I last checked at Bookmaker and I couldn't get to a computer to post this game in time.

For 3/11/11

We have Boston College +4.5 against Clemson

Golden State Warriors +5 against Orlando at home

Cal State Northridge +4.5 against UC Santa Barbara

And keeping an eye on Boise St game as the line is 3.5 right now and will move by the end of the day.
