Bynum has been playing off the charts since the all star break. He has shown an impressive improvement offensively as well as defensively. I personally am suprised as I have been very critical of him since last year. If he can keep the intensity and continue this high level of play I don't think it's being naive to say the Lakers are a contender this season and a 3peat is a strong possibility.

#10yeah in the past 8 games very very impressive, the lakers need him to stay like this going into the playoffs to have any chance at all of making it past the 2nd round but Bynum is a rebounding machine right nowComment -

#12He is suddenly a strong force. Like you guys have said though injuries have always been a factor with Bynum. I hope he is able to stay healthy and injury free throughout the rest of the season and definitely for the playoffs.Comment -

#16What's great about Pau and Bynum is that they both shoot free throws pretty well. This really does make a big difference, especially late in games, and into the playoffs. Howard (and Shaq) were both dominant despite their FT shooting, but it really does give the Lakers a unique edge in their big men.Comment -

#23Most definitely. Artest has definitely exceeded expectations and is active on both sides of the ball. Creating turnovers on defense and hitting shots when it counts on the offensive side. However Artest has been doing this all season and to have Bynum finally doing what he is there for is a huge plus for the Lakers. Once again today agains the Heat Bynum is playing exceptional. Now if he can manage to stay healthy and avoid getting in to foul trouble this could turnout to be the missing link the Lakers needed to go the distance in the 2011 season.Comment -

#25Once again tonight Bynum gets the job done. Controlling the boards on offense and defense and making the FT's all night. Especially when it counts. I'm calling it now... if Bynum can stay healthy and continue this high level of play the Lakers could once again win the West and possibly the whole shabang!Comment -

#28BYNUM is a beast!
Bynum is turning into a beast, if he was on any other team he would be considered Howards equal if not better. Howard is the best in the NBA right now due to stats, but Bynum has caught that BEASTMODE SYNDROME!!Comment -

#29Don't think anybody can beat the duo of Bynum/Gasol. It's not just Bynum that helps make the Lakers great, but the combination of the two. Who can match up with these two?Comment -
