Points are useless for non-pro's however not totally becuase you can accumulate upto 25,000 as a non-pro and retain when become PRO, so if you pulled that off you'd have $1250 value waiting you upon turning pro.

This was changed to 5,000 at the first of the year. Still a pretty good slug.
