Yanks can win without A-Rod easily, great hitters have little effect in the win loss column in the big leagues. It is all about pitching.

Hit it perfectly. The Yankees are the biggest example of this too.

Yankees won a few in a row because Pettitte, Wang, and Mussina pitched well.

Next time around they wont and theyll lose.

It will always be about pitching.

im not so certain that its arod being out or just the fact that they're finally out of baltimore. the os are too much for the yanks.

Yanks will lose today... They need to deal for pitching before the trade deadline. Ian Kennedy and Phil Hughes are garbage. Joba needs to stay in the bullpen. Farnsworth, Hawkins, and Bruney can't setup for Rivera. Joba and Rivera are a perfect match (leave them in the bullpen). Trade for two quality starters and the Yanks have a post-season threat. Other clubs would be willing to work with Kennedy and Hughes. They have quality stuff, but they're just not ready for that AL East style of intense competition.

Yankees are struggling yet again tonight without ARod. Wow, I hope he comes back soon. They can't afford to fall any further behind in the division because of his absence ...

You guys do realize he was scheduled to be out? his wife gave birth this week right or is going to sometime this week.

Also, Arod carried that team last season.

eitherway it won't matter Arod makes more in 1 week than you guys make in a year combined.

Not really. They've been winning at a higher clip since he's been out, tonight's rain affected game notwithstanding.
