UNC no...take away their home court and they are any old team. They have absolutely 0 good wins on the road or neutral court this year.

UNC would get beat up in the big east. Too young. PITT and ND clearly better.

UNC would lose to Syracuse, Louisville, Wvu, Cincinnati (at home) and probably other BE teams. Syracuse and Louisville would out shoot them, and Wvu would be too physical. Cincinnati at home just doesn't lose.

Big east is the NBA-light.

i would gladly take kansas and probably 3 big east teams over this unc team. their best road win was a buzzer beating 3 in at florida state

Let's not over-rate the Big east please. This is getting out of hand. Notre Dame could easily make an early exit, they still are not even close to an elite defensive team. And even a hot shooting team could give Pitt a run for their money with the scoring slumps they go on.

As far as UNC goes, to say their the nation's 2nd best team is a stretch. Top 15, as where they are ranked, is exactly fitting. 3 seed if they show up to the tournament. And will probably be in close games each NCAA tourney game, I do love Kendall Marshall though.

And I agree, OSU is the best team in the nation.

None of that changes the fact that Duke would be -4,5 over UNC on neutral court, and when asked things like who is "better", I always look at things from that gambling perspective.

Perdont was one of the best two until the Iowa flop.

I was looking forward to what BYU could or couldnt do but thats irrelevent now.

Kentucky's young talent could explode in the tournament or a second round fizzle.

They are overvalued.

UNC should have won that game @Duke, but predictably Duke was bailed out by the refs. Shooting 20 FT's in the 2ndH alone.

+4.5. I would consider that a gift.

Agreed. The only other teams that have been nearly as dominant as those two are Texas and Kansas. Texas is poorly coached (as always) and can't be trusted to win close games because of their atrocious free throw shooting down the stretch. Kansas is well coached and has a great front line but has fairly bad guard play. Self is changing their starting lineup this late in the season because he knows they have no shot of going far if he is giving minutes to Taylor & Selby.

I really don't see how anyone can say the best team in the country is not Ohio State. They have dominated teams, in arguably the best conference. They are the only team in college basketball without a bad loss. They lost @ Wisconsin and @ Purdue, both top 15 teams. And they were up by 15 in the second half against Wisconsin. This team will make it very far.

the difference of course being that you could not get in even three rounds of a CFB playoff during the length of time that it takes CBB to play six rounds (19 days).
