Whether this guy had tapes with certain evidence or not. The fact still remains, The Patriots cheated and the league destroyed evidence.

The league fined the Patriots and took away their #1 draft pick. Why? Because they broke the rules.

I completely agree. Not saying what they did was right, or that they should not have been punished. But to suggest they should lose their SB titles is laughable.

Truthfully, I dont think they should have them taken away either, but they will be tainted for a very long time. People outside of Patriot fans are going to look at them that way for awhile.

Whatever other fans want to think is fine with me. The truth is, people that have a strong knowledge of football know that pretty much every team did what the Patriots did, and the Patriots just happened to get ratted out by a former assistant (Mangini).

Did the Pats destroy them? No. The Patriots have handed over everything asked of them. The league destroyed the tapes because they didn't want them getting out. If there was a cover up...the punishment wouldn't have been so publicized.

IMO, they weren't hiding anything. Goodell has proven he will come down hard on anybody, and he did come down hard on the Patriots. 750k fine and loss of a first rounder.

I just think its crazy that every analyst on TV that played in the NFL has said all along that everybody does this type of thing, yet people act like the Patriots committed a heinous crime here. In reality, its a pretty safe team that their favorite team did the exact same thing.
