Pathetic, how is Purdue #6? They were never that good this year.

Despite losing Hummel, Purdue has been very good this year -- until today.

Hadn't watched them this year. They got hammered on the boards and the offense consisted of launching a 3 and running the other way. Maybe 6th most covered team on sports center? Surely not #6 ranking. If so CBB is wrecked worse than the NBA.

Eh, they aren't that good, can only win at home. Will not make it to the Sweet 16.

Most of the Big East and Big Ten will not make the Sweet 16. Overhyped and Overrated.

Big 10 very strong. Iowa close in many games but couldn't close out. Very young. Lose 1 player. Bright future in Hawkeye land after 5 miserable years. Purdue very good team, just got outplayed and outworked today. Expect atleast 3, maybe 4 sweet 16 from Big 10. Always have, always will.

Every team is prone to a bad jump shooting day, this was Purdue's. Against Iowa this is a bad thing because they like to run and they were hitting ridiculous shot after ridiculous shot. If you're a defensive team like Purdue and you get behind its tough to come back.
Whose got 2 thumbs and blew all 2000 of his SBRPoints on Purdue -450? THIS GUY!!!

What makes this win really sweet is that a stud recruit was in the house.

Only team in the Big Ten I see advancing past the sweet 16 this year is Ohio State.

game meant nothing to Purdue, no real shock here.
Bigger shock to me was seeing Indiana St beat Wichita st...Sycamores in the MVC title game

Purdue losing really pissed me off. I just needed them to get the W to finish off a nice parlay. The day did end nicely for me though. I wouldn't say that the game meant nothing to Purdue as it was for a share of the Big 10 regular season champ. I just couldn't believe how badly Purdue shot the ball. They couldn't make a damn thing. Iowa played like shit and still won. I couldn't understand why Purdue wasn't going inside with the ball. If the jumpers aren't falling all day long, go inside for the love of God!

Actually, OSU is the team I think has the most to worry about because of their ultra-short bench. Purdue will be fine. Every elite team has a bad jump shooting day at least one game every season. Its not like they got run off the court they lost by 2. They still have an elite defense, which is more than you can say about Notre Dame.
