Ricardo has always sucked at club level but when he wears the Portugal shirt while still makes you kinda nervous he comes through. Rui Patrício is too young still (He will be good in the future mind you) Quim is trash.
Deco is still a personal fav of Scolari he'll be in the starting 11 even if he doesn't play for Barcelona again.Comment -

Ok trash is a tad trash but Scolari is a guy that if he trusts you he'll always have faith in you. Ricardo has been there in big games and played well. Quim hasn't and he is not about to trust him now. This is the same guy who told Romario to stay home before the 2002 world cup. If Scolari doesn't like/trust a player then he'll never see the field.Comment -

Moutinho too young still and hasn't played all that much for Portugal to be thrown in there over Deco. He'll get his chance leading up to WC 2010. The real question should be if Ronaldo will play up front or will he play on the wing and then if so who will feature as the lone striker.Comment -
that trust is good sometimes, but you also have to realize when players aren't in good form, and Ricardo isn't right now.
Playing at Betis his team was always getting defeated, guess what? Coach changed goalkeepers and Betis is winning now, Ricardo still on the bench.

No champs league for Juve this year but a solid 3rd in Serie A in their first year back after that little match fixing thing. Ajax finished 2nd but they didn't even make it to the Champions League and even lost trying to get into the UEFA Cup so they wouldn't be in it.Comment -
