the Darko deal, picking up everyone else trash (beasley, webster, etc)

So what if he's a loose cannon? He's only 20 years old and already a beast on the court. He has tremendous upside.

It's hard to have a discussion with someone as headstrong as you.

Beasley is decent and they gave up nothing for him. It was a good move by someone who has made a lot of bad ones.

The Wolves have no chance of succeeding long term in the NBA with the current regime in place. Kahns plan makes sense, in theory. Stockpiling draft picks and trading for undervalued young players that dont fit in with their current teams isnt a bad strategy for a team that will NEVER land a top free agent. However, overpaying for players like Darko, and drafting nothing but stiffs will ultimately be the undoing of Kahn and maybe the Wolves franchise as a whole. The are just not a favorite of the the people in Minneapolis. The Lakers were in town this week and the entire upper level of the Target Center was empty....not a good sign. As much as I enjoy having the Wolves in town, they really are a perfect canidate for contraction if Mr Stern goes that way.
