    A Hard Night to Sleep
Tonight will be a hard night to sleep...our 4 yr old greyhound Usher, which we just adopted 6 months ago has cancer. It will probably be hard to sleep like it was when we learned our prized first dog, a grey named Dino, had cancer and passed last yr at almost 13. And it will be a hard night to sleep just like when we were told our other grey, Ivan, had cancer (so far so good with him).

@#&* you cancer. Seriously, just %#@* off and die.

              sorry about that.
perhaps you should start wondering where all these cancers are coming from (genetically modified food, vaccines, etc just like human cancers) - hardly any dogs ever died of cancer 50 years ago.

and with all the billions and billions of dollars being spent to "find a cure" over the past 50 years, cancers have increased even with the huge decline in smoking.

Really hope everything works out. Greyhounds are great dogs, it sucks they're so predisposed to health problems.

Lost a good friend and neighbor to abdominal cancer. Cancer kills about 8 million people world wide/year. Aids kills about 2 million/year, yet aids gets 10 times the research money cancer does. Welcome to socialism.

Suppose there's nothing wrong with a little humour to lighten the mood.

Cancer got my dog, along with walking difficulties (arthritis)

This little puppy was given as a gift to my girlfriend. Thought I was going to marry her. She moved on and didn't have room for me and the puppy in her life. He lived a long time with me.

                                  Hang in there, Dino....
