I used to live in southern Jersey, and when I was 18 years old I used to try sneaking into the casino. Unlike Vegas, they typically have guards posted at the entrance. The key is to act like you belong, which is easier said than done when you're that age. Most guards will stop you and ask for ID, but if you look older you might be able to slip in. If they ask and you don't have ID, they'll just tell you that you have to be 21 and shoo you away.

I was able to get in a few times, so I headed over to the slots (what can I say, I was stupid). No one hassled me, so I made my move to the tables and I got pinched almost immediately.

This was like 20 years ago, so maybe things are different now. But my advice is act like you belong, and if you get in try to disappear into a row of slots and stay away from the table games. Oh, and hope you don't hit a jackpot because you're gonna have to pony up an ID if you want to keep the winnings.

I've gambled while I was 16. No one asked for ID and cocktail waitresses kept asking if I wanted drinks. But this was at the slots so I don't know about table games.
