That sounds great, but I'm not sure I'd be able to survive watching baseball all day, every day. You'd be living in NYC from April-October and you would have to be seated by 7pm every night to watch baseball. Forget about Saturday/Sunday, day games thru west coast games. Then there's always those pesky mid-week matinee games. I'd go nuts not being able to do other things.

I doubt it pays very well at all. There are enough fans who would do something like that practically for free. They probably just supply you with a place to live and all the TV equipment then just give you some cash each month.
That kind of gig in this kind of economy doesn't need an added incentive of a high salary in order to get thousands of applicants to choose from.

Let's be cereal here...
To watch every SINGLE game and to be able to analyze them all plus blogging plus MLB mandated events, that's a lot of work, I would not be surprised they will pay you $50K and up with accomodation covered.
If you have a family, def not a good spot for ya. But for someone like me, WHOA. That's all haha.

First you say it doesn't pay and then you say they give you some cash each month.
Of course it pays. How well, I couldn't say.

This sounds more like hard time vs dream job. Watching every single game. Whoever wins will turn into an addict of coke, meth, or speed.

obviously the job offer is an ad to subscribe to their mlb package. no one could possibly do it. it would be like chinese water torture even if you like the game. all those pitchers throws to 1st base you would have to watch. every pitchers every throw over. it would drive you insane by may. watching foul ball after foul ball. pitching changes. what about extra inning games you will end up screaming if a game is tied up in the ninth. what a joke that ad was.
