Is there anywhere in the US you can go to bet on sports besides Vegas? Specifially anywhere on the East Coast?

No. Las Vegas is the only legalized sportsbook in the US.

Bold prediction here...... at some point in the future Atlantic city will have sports betting, with all the casinos in the NY, Delaware and Pennsylvania areas Atlantic city is dying a slow death and needs to have sports gambling to survive. They tried a few years back and were denied with the NFL fighting the hardest against it.
IMO they should move forward with sports betting and forget the NFL, most seasoned sports bettors can deal with betting other sports and college and just go the illegal or offshore route to bet the NFL games

Would be nice to be able to bet sports outside of Vegas. So then I don't have to do all this sneaking around for online sportbooks.

I live in Charleston so that is probably the closest I'll find then. I'll stick with online gambling until then.

Can you elaborate on this more for me, please? I don't know how i stumbled across this old thread but i had no idea they had ships with sportsbetting in the southeast U.S. I thought the only place in America with legal sportsbooks was Nevada(vegas, reno, tahoe, carson city). I've heard of the casino cruises before like in Florida and Texas but never heard about them having sportsbooks. Is it like a regular full sportsbook on the ship? Is there any fine print with it like if you win they keep a cut for travel fees? It seems too good to be true, a fuckin cruise with sportsbetting in the U.S. has to be some catch huh? What's it cost to board the cruise? Thanks for anymore info you can provide.
I've only been out to play blackjack and poker. Me and some buddies are going out when football starts.

if you need to take a boat out that will probably either get sucked into the bermuda triangle or boarded by pirates or turned upside down by a hurricane to bet on sports contests you have a problem. continue to bet online until they come and take it all away on us. they can't get them all can they?

Naw no pirates to worry about, the ships cruise off the coast of America not Somalia or Yemen.
