When a new poster signs up instead of the 10 minute post restriction between post how about a restriction for no more than 5 post a day for 60 days. The typical ghoster post nonstop when they create a new account.

#95 posts a day is not enough. Now i dont even make that many posts in a day, but you wouldnt get any new users with such limitations. Maybe a 20 post limit because alot of newbies might want to discuss certain specific gamesComment -

#10kinda disagree, a lot of poster's sign up and post very little. If they want the post restriction taken off then they could become an SBR PRO before their 60 days are up.Comment -

#11I'd say even doing this for 1 or 2 weeks would help tremendously, let alone 60 days. Also, about the comment that a newb may want to discuss games... ghosting is most problematic in PT, so only place the limit on PT... doubt most ghosts are gonna seek attention in the subforurms.Comment -

#12I see thing differently. There should be no restrictions on new posters but heavy penalties for abuse. Putting restrictions on new posters is sort of like gun laws. Make everyone go through multiple hoops because a few will abuse them. I'd rather not see people criminalized before they have commited a crime.Comment -

#13I still don't understand how a guy like onthewhat or tltaylor89 can be allowed to ghost month after month without any repercussions. Then when someone is actually punished for ghosting it makes a mockery of the system because not all offenders are punished equally.Comment -

#14They like traffic...in all reality, they probably don't mind ghosts as long as they don't abuse pointsComment -

#15exactly, the SBR crew loves when the same people do it over and over again, hell, if you could make 50 ghosts aday, start 100 new thread when you just pounded you face into the keyboard and posted non-sense John would probably toss you some points for generating traffic.Comment
