Does the time that you spend on the forum distract you from effectively handicapping?

Do you occasionally find yourself getting uncharacteristically "caught-up" in the daily dramas on the forum, neglecting your sports betting duties, taking preventable losses that would've easily been avoided if you had just dedicated more time to handicapping?

Every now and then but not too often since I usually cap my games late at night or in the morning before I log in.

I try to stay out of the daily drama, but some of the political/Iraq/presidential threads just lure me in.But my understanding of capping is very limited, I spend maybe 2 minutes a day, making just one play a day.Im a 80% instinct, 20% stats type of guy, its worked well for me for years, so I see no reason to change anything.

Most guys don't bet that much here so it does not mater if they lose or win
