Do you root for the home teams?

Can't say I do. I am from New Jersey but cheer for the following teams...

1) NFL - NY Giants
2) NBA - Boston Celtics (have been a fan since Larry Bird was around. Had the Starter jacket back in the 1980's. Suffered through Joe Kleine, Bias dying, Lewis dying, Eric Montross)
3) NHL - NJ Devils
4) MLB - Any team EXCEPT the Yankees. Hate them with a passion.

All college sports the Florida State University.

Who do you cheer for?

I'm from NY and I'm a Yankees, Giants, Rangers, and Knicks fan. As you can see, I never understood how a person can root for a team other than your home team. Unless you hate where you're from or you live in a state without local teams, I thinks it's ****** up to not be a fan of your home team.

No. Only local team I root for are the Pirates. Pittsburgh fans for the most part are so uneducated and bandwagonish that it makes you despise the Steelers/penguins.

MLB - Huge Twins fan
NBA - Wolves, even though they're completely inept
NHL - Wild
NFL - I follow the Vikings from a distance but not really a fan
Colleges - Minnesota for football and basketball, Minnesota-Duluth for hockey
