Opie,i would send you the 98 points to get to the bottom of this rake fee question, however in my current condition it would take me 49 days to get the 98 points to you, but thanks for the offer.
By the way thanks for liking me, or did you just want to get me for 98points,hard to read you guys in pink polo shirts.

#75The tightening of the points program helps make the points giveaways like the 700,000+ points given away to the poker players this month much easier. Plus, for now it is doubtful there will be any major price increases this year if the plan works as we expect it to. As always, we are open to your ideas.
Why screw the people whom do not play poker here??? Just wondering, do not really care about points Do not know what to use them on since I do not use the books YOU support. But a very good question????Comment -

Bill are you sure about this statement about cashing out for a $250 cash credit,my understanding is that went out the window on Febuary 15th as far as non pros are concerned and now can only get a cash credit if we open up a new account and not in an existing account.
Bill another question, will the sbr store ever have food items or gift cards available to Canadians?Comment -

#91SBRJohn,
I have several ideas here to make it even better here. I do think that if you deposit $200 in a years span at a sponsor you should be able to be a pro and keep your status. Then take Rudy's idea and do that for higher levels based on how much you deposit on a yearly basis. The only drawback is that you would have to stay with a certain book though unless you had it to where you can send pms every time that someone made a deposit into one.
I have some non pros that have told me though that they cannot have the horse contests in the horse racing forum because of the 2 point limit. I suggest you to see to it that can be done in some way with contests like if that can be done through your create a contest. Another way is to give the non pros a chance to transfer as much as they like if they have above so many posts that would be a good idea too. JoeyP was saying this and he wasn't very pleased by it. I hope you can help on that.Comment -

#99I don't think the changes went far enough. In my opinion, points should be for pros only. Send a clear message that all it takes is a $200 deposit to reap the full benefits of SBR.Comment -

Funny you mentioned that I was in online chat the help area with sam or Lou the day the prices went up...they told me the prices were in the process of being changed right now and if I wanted to save on the inflation do it now! It seemed extremely clear what the message was... Sorry you lost your bet...but you made the bet...
If something could have been done to help you or in your opinion can be done e-mail or pm Sam or Lou...have a good day...Comment -

#104Analysis of the SBR Price Increase
--------------------------------
The elimination of non-sbr pro's from anything meaningful in regards to store purchases and transfer point ability is the key. Fraud is decreased. A decrease in fraud means that the site can save more money and give a portion of it back to the people who help the site; forum members who go thru the links, and deposit at the books, so that SBR can get the referal and what other perks that being an affiliate entitles them to have.
One of the primary goals of this site and almost any site is to be profitable or at least not take a loss. If this means occasional announced SBR point price increase in the store, then so be it. Ask yourself this...Where else do you have the ability to garner what you can in the store for free? This opportunity with its flair for detail and originality is rare. If price increase mean that the program can stay in place and other venues for points and cash are opened up ie poker room and etc...it is a good thing.
The only downside I see of the points raining like they did in the SBR tourneys and the price increase of April 15th was that Betphoenix pulled out of the store with their reduced rate compared to other books. This may or may not be related to the rush of orders at the end.
Im all for price increases as long as they mean the system stays in place and improvesComment -
