haha Preakness was awesome. its just a party on the infield with girls getting naked, as much beer as you can possibly drink, and horses to bet on all day long. i drank about 35 beers out in the sun and ended up passing out at a jerry's subs & pizza on the way home. i saw an old coach of mine out there getting drunk and hitting on younger girls..it was a wild scene overall. anyone who's close to the track should get out for at least one of the big-3. at the Preakness you could bring in as much beer as you could carry, at the derby you have to sneak it in, that kinda sucks. you have to be real creative, they're pretty strict.

Actually, it's my opinion, so it's not "silly to say" it is simply different than what you think - which will often be the case for me and you, if the past is any indicator.
As far as the American Idol columns - I'd agree that they rank right up there with some of the bullshIt threads you start, Lou. Your high and mighty act is old - and your opinion of me is about as important as whether or not buzzy chooses popcorn shrimp or mushrooms.

I'm one of Mo's close E-buddies (his roommate is my best friend) and I've never been asked to start one of these threads with "Mo" somewhere in the title. I honestly think the easiest way to fix this problem is to clearly separate the non-sports talk from the sports talk and make sure they are separated accordingly. We can allow for both types of discussion AND be successful on both ends of it.

I think another thing that was brought up, that alot of us are too lazy to cap, contributes just as much to the fact that some of us don't know how to cap. You can sit for hours and analyze stats but if you don't know what you are doing you are still going to end up on the losing end.
