I had the Twins on the +1.5 run line. Line was -125. It was the first of a 5 part parlay for decent $. The game was an early start @ like 1pm est. I was listening at work. Minnesota is up 2-0 going into the top of the ninth. Joe Nathan come in to close the game out. He proceeds to get the 1st and 2nd batter out easily. Then fuckin Gordon Beckham homers, like seriously this is before Beckham was any good. he goes yard real deep. Next up Konerko he belts one out. Im like shit its still ok We are on +1.5, but nope Nathan walks 2 more gets pulled and they both score. The worst part was watching the next 4 plays of the parlay hit.

This was easily the worst beat I've taken. Far worse than the second worse beat in a soccer match where I had the under. 1-1 going into extra time and a goal was scored. The cal poly beat was just gross on so many levels. They were up like 12 for the half(not the game) with like 6 minutes remaining. Add the missed FTs at the end and the pointless 3 by Fullerton with 3 seconds left. And the worse being, the line opened up at +1 Cal poly.(no joke) I had to take a shit and I come back to see it moved to PK, then I look over the schedules quickly and look over how the teams played in the second half, and looked good for Cal poly. So I'm about to lock in cal poly PK, on the confirmation page, it moves to -1/2 cal poly. I still take it and the rest is history. On tilt, I go all in on hawaii-NMS UNDER 2h and lose. Just reloaded at betjm.

Lakers up 8 with 3 seconds left... raptors inbound the ball from full court jarrod jack dribbles up the court and throws up a prayer 3 and hits it to make the lakers win by 5 and cost me just about 11k

Years back on MNF when Pitt was playing Jax and Pitt was kicking a fg to end game. Only way Jax could cover number was a block returned for a TD. Of course it happend and Cowher almost tackled the Jags player as he was running down sideline. A 6 figure swing for my booking operation. Shot one of my tvs in disgust.

Only a few $100 on it, but the Bills played the pats around 1997 or 1998 and the Pats scored at the end of the 4th quarter. The Bills refused to come out for the extra point and Vin ran it in for a 2 point conversion. It cost me a push.

Slovakia defender takes a dive in penalty box @ 2:49 of STOPPAGE TIME as the final whistle was about to blow with the next clearing. Slovakia awared a PK on very last play of game, made it.

I believe I had Netherlands -1 for a bad push, but I know of those who had Under 2.5, with a goal in the 84th and then the one on the final play, which has to make for one of the worst beats you can think of.

How many bets has stoppage time fuked for people? It is an unreal joke sometimes how refs arbitraily let the game run on.

buzzer 3pter with1.8 sec by northwestern before halftime. Illinois had the ball with 30 sec left therefore northwestern should have never got the ball back.

A couple come to mind
2008 Had a 5 team parlay with the Steelers/Chargers game left to hit. I had Steelers (-4 or -5), looked like a loss but Polamalu gets a turnover in the last seconds of the game and scores a touchdown and covers. We were in Vegas at the sportsbook at Bally's and then we all find out the play is being reviewed. 15-20 minutes go by and find out it was overturned, the place goes berserk. It was unreal people screaming, shouting started to see extra security coming to the sportsbook. Then to find out that the NFL stated the touchdown should have counted but the score would not be changed. Score stays at 11-10. I heard it had gotten ugly in a few sportsbooks around town.

The other that sticks in my mind was a race at Monmouth Park, I cap the race and find a steal, Briefcase Beauty at 12-1. The horse hasn't raced in almost a year but only showed 1 workout and sizeable drop in class. I'm thinking the trainer has been working the horse privately and is trying to sneak in an easy win. Sure enough the horse is 4 lengths ahead coming down the stretch and pulling away when all of a sudden the horse stumbles badly. The jockey goes flying forward and is actually on the back of the neck of the horse and somehow the horse manages to stay up but loses by a nose. Fortunately I caught Briefcase Beauty's next start and won easily but at only 6-1.

The Music City Bowl with Tennessee and the under was the worst I've ever had. In the last 5 minutes figure this: Missed XP 99% play fails. 80 yds in 30 seconds, aided by dumbass spearing penalty. Clock ran out with 15 UNC guys on the field, but they snapped it with 1 second according to replay which took place after coaches shook hands and fireworks went off. The allow UNC to kick a FG, which sends to OT and eventually UNC wins, covers, and it goes over in double OT. IMPOSSIBLE

I did a 12 team progressive parlay for $10 back in December and had the Kings +12.5 or something like that against the Thunder, Kings kept the cover going in to the 4th quarter to get outscored 30-20, and lose by 15 points. Cost me a few grand...I was pissed, but went away rather quickly because i had the mentality I wasn't gonna win it, but the fact it was that close killed me!

i was down in florida for the holidays visiting family...me and my uncle must have watched the end of that one like 5 times on dvr....

giants ended up winning, but by a field goal, think the line was 7. They were covering earlier and the game got ugly in second half. Real low scoring.

And the Giants are my team!!! I have season tickets. And they didnt cover on the last leg of 11 teamer that would have won me 30,000!

I attended that game.
The field/pitch cut up horribly due to the relentless rain, moving the ball was hard in the 2nd half.
