marquette has lost 7 of the last 11, and has really played much worse lately than the beginning of the season.

that said, this is about as close to a must win as it gets in february - i think these guys will be fired up by buzz and will play their best ball tonight. will that be enough to win? who knows, college hoops so often comes down to who makes a better % of 3's.

marquette averages 77 pts/game, last 3 first half totals for marquette games were 66, 76, 68 and i think they'll come out firing

good for marquette, it woulda been a shame if they missed the tournament... they could beat anybody in the country on the right night.. Last thing a 1 seed would want is seeing this marq team in the second round.
