Scrum? I thought it was called fighting?

It's OK when it's just some pushing and holding after a whistle. It becomes a full-blown fight when they square off and usually they'll both get fighting majors and someone will get an instigator penalty on top of that.

I thought fighting was encouraged in hockey? Would anybody even watch hockey without fights? Thats like watching Nascar without crashes.

The NHL has been trying to call tighter games and get away from fighting a little bit. They don't want it eliminated, but def reduced. I'm a Bruins fan and they are in the Top 3 in the league in fighting majors, so I haven't seen much reduction in the number of fights. This season especially, there are been A LOT of brawls (which everyone loves)

I did not know either, until I was watching the Kings/Ducks game.
