The road W-L is all bull shit, we got our ass kicked by boston, and went on a 7 game loosing streak, all games on the road. We played our worst ball on the road at the time, but I really don't see it anything meaningful but for critics to use against us, who haven't even looked at the stats or even looked at how the record got the way it is.

Of course this is a HUGE move for the brewers, how many times do you have to get one of the best closers in the game. Anytime you can get can an elite bullpen guy to help you end games in the 7th and put the pressure on the other team to score runs early, good things will come.

Keep dreaming..before the fish gift wrapped mil a 4 gm road sweep their road record was atrocious before they went to Bos, Your "big name" pitchers dont scare anyone (not the ones you got this season anyway), and bottom line is whether you like it or not they score significantly less and dont win on the road. Not sure what stats you are referring to that dont back that up as every statistical category for them is way down on the road and has been well before they went to bos. Id be happy to throw out that stretch of "bad" gms if you throw out the lucky timing of when they went to fla and then tell me what their road marks are.

If stl goes .500 or better on their upcoming road swing by the time Brew crew get off this west coast swing they could be 6 gms back...

After this 11 game roadie, the Brewskis will be a few games out if not more. Thats the time to take them to win the Central. The price will be much better than it is now (+135) and the schedule gets much easier. Just hope they don't go 0-11 on this trip (COL, AZ, SF) which of course is possible. That said I still think in the end they will sit on top of this weak division.
