Nice job man, Safin is a piece of shit. Dude was up 5-2 I think in the 2nd after winning the 1st and found a way to lose. I took it on the chin in this one. Oh well, more $$ to be made.

Also Safin wasted a couple of matchpoints in the 2nd set tiebreaker. But I think he is finding form at the moment..he needs these close matches to recover fitness.

Yeah that's why I took him today. He battled hard in beating Ferrero the other day, I expected him to continue that today and he looked solid, but then the "old" Safin came out to play.

I think wasting that 8-7 matchpoint on serve in the tiebreaker really did it..the 3rd set was really just a matter of chasing, despite coming back from 0-3 to 3-3..he was never really "in the zone" as they say

And I think it is a good bettingrule to avoid Safin when he is priced up as a favorite.

Yeah I agree on that for the most part. I won with Safin at +190 vs. Ferrero, but I did bite today because based on that match I thought he was poised for a nice run in this tourney. Oh well.
