Do they still have the Chicago Stand-Bys Fan Club....
They traveled to see the Hawks play road games....
I remember back aways the Hawks were playing the North Stars
at Met Center.....
I was with a group of 4 guys and we ran into the Stand- Bys
and their leader during the game...an older guy....I think his name was Uncle Fred....
He invited us back to their motel across the street after the game...
We went and there was about 20 Stand- Bys and a good time was had by all...
Beer was in the bath tub filled with ice....and within 30 minutes
I was french kissing this great little brunette cupcake who later told
me she was a Chicago lady cop.....
It was great memories.....
After all, thats all we have in life at the end day........
