In the sportsbook rules it says 2,000 can be won but when I tried to bet enough to win 1,000 it said that was an invalid amount, I had to lower it to 999

I would love someone to explain this. Rules say 2,000 and as far as I can tell I was limited to 1,000 on NHL totals and 500 on NCAAB. I have no idea what the actual rules are.
