I'm not about to label Tori Hunter a racist even if some of his quotes are considered racist by some. This is a very touchy subject. Consider what happened to Jimmy The Greek and Al Campanis. If a team doesn't have any black players (in the first place), the implication could be made that said team's hiring pollicies are not necessarily pro-racial diversification (black talent might not be a viable option for their rosters - for whatever reason). Therefore, it's kind of hipocritical for said team to wear the number 42 in honor of a black player who risked his life for league intergration. The percentage of blacks in baseball right now is at 8.2%. If a roster has 25 guys, that means you need 2 black guys to make it to 8%. So you're trying to say, with a variance of TWO PEOPLE, that could bring a team's ethics into question?

I could understand if it was at 8% and the roster was made up of 1,000 people. There might be a slight problem if the league averaged 80 bruthas per team and there is Houston with zero. But we're talking two. So that's just stupid.
