Chris Mullin returned to the court tonight in the celebrity game. Looking smooth as ever, Mullin drained the prettiest shot of the night from 3... it was absolutely a thing of beauty... but that's not what made it special.
What made tonight special was my 8 and 4 year old sons shared in the moment with me. Both love basketball and have not seen Chris Mullin live like this before. I am happy to say they both now love Chris Mullin too. As I was putting my 8 year old son O-dog to bed, he said to me... "Dad, Mullin was awesome"... I seriously almost cried... and on top of all this my 6 year old daughter, who would normally be annoyed with basketball on tv, was super excited about beiber, who lit it up as well tonight. I was trash talking Beiber and she was trash talking Mullin... it was classic.
A night I'll never forget, and hopefully my kids won't either... Thank you Chris Mullin.
