I can make a straight bet that pays -110 33 to win 30 or 8 4 team parlays for 4.30 that pays 47.30. Is something wrong here because this looks to good to be true? One of the 3 team combos is guaranteed to win, I'm just adding my straight wager to it.

I the 'all combinations' of the parlay is accepted by the book then, yes, it will give you the best return on your freeplay funds.
There are many threads on this on the forum.

This will work with cash as well right? Say I have 33 to bet on one game, I make 8 4 team parlays with my original wager and the 8 combos of 3 teams that one will be guaranteed to hit. As long as the one wager win that is on all 8 I have return of 47 on 33 instead of 30.

The straight bet will only pay 30 if it wins by itself. I could add it to the 8 3 team parlays because one will win anyway and have a higher return.

Thats what I'm saying 8 parlays and I add my straight bet on all 8 for a much higher return.

OK but you are then making it a 50% chance of getting a zero return when you are talking about freeplays.
When talking about cash, the parlay does not pay the true odds and is therefore of less value than straight betting.

I see now but its much better than straight betting on a free play that would have of 50% chance of winning anyway.

                          Agreed.
As mentioned the "all combinations" parlay gives you the best possible guaranteed return on freeplay funds, if the book allows it.
