lockout starts 3/4. they could get a deal done anytime after that and the + money bets are losers while still having a full season of games.

Yeah, there is no way a deal gets done before March 4th. The owners refuse to come to the table and even negotiate.

No does NOT have tremendous value. The NFLPA is being pushed along by a duder that doesn't really care other than upping his profile. RIP Gene Upshaw - the mofo took the owners to school whilst playing their game. Right now, the NFLPA is being run by someone with goals that are out of his league. It's a shame. A proper 50/50 split should get it done, even if the owners want a bigger cut (and it's fair, the owners spend a dickload of money to get their players ready). Bottom line is, the NFL costs more than most sports to field - I think the owners actually have a legit case vs the players. I hate saying that, but I think it's true. The players are gonna get paid anyway... Although it's always bothered me that scrubby baseball players make more than Donovan McNabb (even if you hate the guy, he's a winner and always has been).

NFL lockout will almost certainly happen, but I believe they will play a full season in 2011-2012.

Lockup automatically happens when march 4th hits. We will have a lockout, but only for a few days

Exactly, there will be a lockout the owners want the current CBA to expire before the new one, -350 is a steal. as for whether any games will be missed, i dont think so, but that a whole 'nother beast.

Lockout on March 4h will happen but I don't think it should last that long hopefully. I would hate to see games lost this coming season.

Lockout means they lock the doors to the facilities, so the players can't come in for injury treatment or use the weight room, etc.

a lockout is a step in the prosses to preshure the players. There can be a lockout with no missed games .
